World War II was not fought like World War I, just like World War III will not be fought like the second. Twenty two years passed from the first world war to the second and radically new technologies, tactics and methods were used which gave Germany the advantage for the first three years until everyone else caught on and adapted to what was going on. Sixty Six years have passed from the second world war until today. If World War III is ever fought it will be completely unrecognizable from all the wars of the past. Bullets, bombs, artillery, missiles, ships, soldiers, tanks and aircraft are not the only way to fight war. There are invisible weapons outside of the human visual and auditory spectrum which surmount the devastation and efficiency of all previous conventional weapon systems combined. Invisible weapons combined with media control and endless entertainment distractions could allow a full scale global military conflict without the knowledge or consent of the populace.
